This is the all-season take on our textured herringbone style, knit from USA grown and spun Supima cotton, one of the finest extra-long staple cotton fibers in the world. A beautiful light/medium weight sock, the pattern is a cross between a herringbone and a cable knit. The monotone color keeps it classy and appropriate for any situation, from dress to casual. These socks will look great with suits, chinos, and denim.
Pima is the generic term for extra long staple cotton, which is some of the finest cotton produced in the world due to its strength and softness. [It is also the cotton used in Ventile cloth, our trench coat fabric.] Supima is American grown pima cotton and was once called American-Egyptian cotton, but was renamed to honor the Pima Indians who were growing cotton in Sacaton, Arizona. Supima is grown in CA and TX and spun into yarn in Georgia.
So here's the bottom line: not only are these socks knit from some of the finest cotton in the world, but they are 100% domestically produced from farm to factory: USA grown cotton, spun into yarn in GA, and knit in PA.
