If you have browsed any of our look-books or instagram photos, you will undoubtedly see some beautiful jeans. In almost all cases they were made by our friends at Shockoe Atelier in their own factory in Richmond, VA. We first met the guys at Shockoe at the various made-in-USA pop-ups. Not only were they super nice guys, but they had a great looking product. After we tried on their jeans we knew they were on a different level. The fit, the finish, the details - they are all in alignment. Many pairs later, we were hooked.
We asked the guys at Shockoe: would you ever do a jean in cotton moleskin? They said sure, let's do it. It was pretty much that simple. Moleskin is an amazing fabric for winter because you can move around in it well but it holds heat and blocks wind. Moleskin is also very durable, expect these jeans to last many years. We choose the Shockoe standard fit, which has a trim and contemporary feel without being oppressively slim. Fabric and Construction
The exterior fabric of these jeans is 100% cotton moleskin, weighing just under 10 oz per square yard. Moleskin is a sueded cotton with a very soft hand and substantial feel. Not quite as thick as velvet, moleskin is a great winter fabric because it blocks the wind and holds heat in well but still breathes.

Sizes 30 - 34 have a 33.5'' inseam and sizes 35 - 38 have a 34'' inseam

This style fits a little tighter than the normal Shockoe standard fit. Consider sizing up if you are in the middle of two sizes or used to a looser fit
Customers familiar with the Shockoe standard fit should probably size up 1 size.
The moleskin fabric will shrink .5'' in length and .5'' in the waist when washed in cold water
